Job summary

ENGIE North America Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to manage engineering activities for design across US and Canada, focusing on utility-scale wind, solar, and storage projects.

You will coordinate meetings with consultants and EPC contractors, review design submittals, and ensure all deliverables meet project specifications. The role requires strong experience in renewable energy project engineering, electrical background, and ability to travel up to 30% domestically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited university or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in renewable energy project engineering and documentation.
• Experience in detailed and conceptual design of renewables facilities; electrical background preferred (Substations, P&C, Commissioning, PV, BESS).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license and PMI certification are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities for design of utility-scale renewables projects across US/Canada.
• Coordinate design meetings with Consultants and EPC Contractors; monitor progress and milestones.
• Provide technical input; review submittals and equipment selection with SMEs.
• Update standards and manage external engineering firms; manage risks and ensure safety and environmental compliance.
