Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficient in relay settings and calculations for protection schemes.
• Familiar with software for SEL, Beckwith, and GE relays.
• Experience in design and review of engineering diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for design and engineering for relay replacements and installations.
• Perform protective device coordination from 480V to 500kV.
• Writing test and checkout procedures for relay systems.

Skills

Proficiency in relay settings and calculations

Familiarity with SEL, Beckwith and GE relay software

Designing and reviewing drawings

Performing protective device coordination

Knowledge of NERC PRC evaluations

ETAP/SKM system analysis software knowledge

Field Testing and Commissioning
