Salt River Project in Arizona seeks a First line leader for System Operators and Power Dispatchers to oversee real-time operations of SRP's Bulk Electric System. You will lead transmission operations, Balancing Authority activities, and Energy Imbalance Market oversight, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency.

The role requires a bachelor's degree (preferred) and 7+ years of experience, with NERC certification within a year.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant field encouraged.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience; 11 years with equivalent mix.
• NERC Reliability Coordination Certification within 1 year.

Mansioni

• Provide leadership to ensure safe, reliable operation of SRP transmission and related markets.
• Oversee control room operations during major events and emergencies.
• Communicate with reports and other departments to improve tools and reliability.
• Identify improvements with other Grid Operation Supervisors; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support training and development of System Operators/Dispatchers.
• Develop Operating Practices and represent the department in inter-department meetings.
• Lead projects, manage EMS development, and ensure readiness of control centers.
• Schedule staffing and manage overtime; review outages and engineering reports.
