Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced Grid Modernization Engineering Lead to steer microgrid, DER, renewable + storage projects from feasibility to implementation.

You will lead technical delivery, manage project scope and budgets, and work with the Power & Industry Business Sector to drive growth and client satisfaction. The role requires in-depth knowledge of microgrids/DERs, strong leadership, and exceptional communication skills to coordinate cross-disciplinary teams and engage

Qualifications

• Twelve (12)+ years of direct technical experience with microgrids/DERs from feasibility to implementation.
• Demonstrated success in engineering or project management, and executing/concurrent management of multiple projects.
• Client development experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery efforts across microgrid/DER projects, including engineering design, drawing review, and QA/QC.
• Provide equipment selection recommendations based on circuit configuration/functionality.
• Develop technical content for business plans and client discussions (white papers, technical liaison).
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and profitability of projects; oversee multiple projects.
