Job summary
Specialist Staffing Group seeks a Grid Integration & Power Systems Studies Engineer to support utility-scale renewable generation projects across North America. Focus areas include grid interconnection, dynamic modeling, and EMT studies, with emphasis on wind turbine dynamics and inverter-based resources.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in renewable energy development and power systems engineering.
- Experience with transmission planning, grid interconnection, and reliability standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead interconnection activities and grid studies across North America.
- Coordinate with ISOs, utilities, consultants and stakeholders.
- Perform and review power system studies using PSCAD, PSS/E, TSAT, and DIgSILENT.
- Validate dynamic models and analyze EMT studies.
- Ensure compliance with NERC standards and regional grid codes.
- Support commissioning, testing, and model verification.
- Collaborate with global teams on renewable energy initiatives.
