Job summary

Black & Veatch Family of Companies seeks a Construction Manager to coordinate on-site activities and ensure alignment with the CPM schedule. The role requires leadership of superintendents, safety oversight, and close collaboration with the Project Field Manager.

You will manage subcontractor performance, assist with budget control, and drive quality and timely handovers of start-up packages. Union and safety experience are preferred for project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or related field preferred.
• 14+ years construction supervisory experience required, with at least 3 years in construction manager role.
• OSHA Training and pre-employment onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site subcontractor activities to meet CPM schedule and project requirements.
• Direct establishment of subcontractor schedules and recovery plans; lead feasibility reviews.
• Support client interface and maintain relations; review site procured materials and equipment rentals.
• Lead weekly coordination and subcontractor meetings; monitor safety, quality, and cost controls.
