Job summary

EDG Inc. is seeking a Sr. Field Construction Supervisor (Oversight Role) for Atlanta-area projects in electric utilities.

The role reports to the Utility Construction Manager and covers construction through commissioning and closeout. It involves on-site leadership across multiple projects with emphasis on safety, scheduling, and contractor coordination. The ideal candidate has 10–15 years in electric utility transmission or distribution, can interpret OSHA regulations, and will ensure safety,

Qualifications

Requires 10–15 years of experience in Electric Utility Transmission or Distribution.
Must interpret OSHA regulations and guide crews and management on proper application.
Ability to wear safety gear and work at construction sites in utility environments.

Responsibilities

Participate in project teams to develop scope, cost estimates, and schedules.
Visit on-site field scope locations and assist in developing detailed construction plans.
Coordinate with environmental and survey crews; ensure permits and safety prerequisites are in place.
Review contractor pre-construction/safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Monitor progress vs in-service dates and ensure quality and maintainability of project work.
Log construction progress, maintain field notes, and ensure as-built documentation.
