Job summary

Troon North Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a part-time Greeter who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within our fast-paced hospitality‑focused property organization. You will welcome guests with a warm smile, escort them to their tables, and help manage seating to ensure smooth service.

Your role includes maintaining guest lists, handling reservations notes, staying informed about menu items, prices, and service procedures, and remaining visible on the dining floor to assist

Qualifications

• No experience required but will train.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Outgoing and friendly attitude.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes each guest with a smile and friendly greeting and escorts them to their assigned table.
• Controls the flow of work in the room by seating guests in station rotation while maintaining guest lists and following and enforcing check issue procedures.
• Assigns opening or closing side duties. Supervises side work and ensures completed setups of all stations before departure of service staff.
• Maintains the reservation book, takes incoming telephone calls, and notes reservations and special requests from guests.
• Remains knowledgeable of all menu items, prices, and general service procedures.
• Maintains standards of appearance and cleanliness in all service areas.
• Remains visible on the dining room floor and is easily accessible to guests, staff, and management.
• Checks all tables daily before service to ensure proper settings.
• Assists with side work and supports service staff with bussing tables and taking cocktail orders.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the department manager.
• Works to create a memorable and enjoyable experience for golfers and diners alike.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
