Job summary

Defined Fitness Inc in Rio Rancho, NM is seeking a friendly Greet Team Member for part-time hours. You will be the first impression, greet members and guests, verify memberships, and support club sales goals while delivering excellent customer service.

This role requires cash handling, reliability, and strong communication. Must be able to work mornings, evenings, and weekends, with a gym membership included.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a customer service-oriented position.
• Minimum of one (1) year cash handling experience.
• Demonstrate ability to provide excellent internal and external customer service.
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office and various other products, such as ABC and GymSales.

Responsibilities

• Greet all members and guests in a professional, courteous, and pleasant manner.
• Verify membership status and respond accordingly to questions, concerns, etc.
• Work with Greet Team Manager to achieve club sales goals.
• Answer and/or direct all incoming calls promptly and courteously.
• Conduct periodic club walks to ensure a clean and safe facility.
• Accurately process money transactions.
• Place calls to prospective members regarding new promotions.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked workspace.
• Communicate all club concerns and member inquiries to management daily.
• Provide tours for prospective members.

The Greet Team Member is the first point of contact for members, potential members, vendors and anyone entering or calling the facility. Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a customer service-oriented position
• Minimum of one (1) year cash handling experience
• Demonstrate ability to provide excellent internal and external customer service.

• Valid CPR/AED certification (including infant and child) within the first 45 days of employment and maintain throughout employment
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to eight (8) hours at a time
• Must be able to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds
• Must be able to perform the following tasks: walk, squat, bend, stoop, stand, listen, read, and write
