Job summary

Defined Fitness Inc. in Farmington, NM, is seeking a part-time Greet Team Member. You will be the first contact for members, guests and vendors, delivering friendly service and handling membership verification, inquiries and promotions with energy and professionalism.

The role requires cash handling, strong communication, and the ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends. Gym membership and staff pass perks are included; CPR/AED certification is required within 45 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a customer service-oriented position.
• Minimum of one (1) year cash handling experience.
• Demonstrate ability to provide excellent internal and external customer service.
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office and various other products, such as ABC and GymSales.
• CPR/AED certification (including infant and child) within the first 45 days of employment and maintain throughout employment.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet all members and guests in a professional, courteous, and pleasant manner.
• Verify membership status and respond accordingly to questions, concerns, etc.
• Work with Greet Team Manager to achieve club sales goals.
• Answer and/or direct all incoming calls promptly and courteously.
• Conduct periodic club walks to ensure a clean and safe facility.
• Accurately process money transactions.
• Place calls to prospective members regarding new promotions.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked workspace.
• Communicate all club concerns and member inquiries to management daily.
• Provide tours for prospective members.

Qualifications
