Job summary

Founders Group Mcc in River Hills, SC is seeking a groundskeeper to maintain golf course grounds and prepare daily play. The role requires physical fitness, ability to walk long distances, lift up to 70 lbs, and work a flexible schedule including weekends.

You will perform mowing, edging, debris removal, pine straw spreading, and equipment operation following safety rules. Teamwork and a positive attitude are essential to support all departments and ensure top course conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have working knowledge of golf course operations.
• Must be able to walk a minimum of five miles daily, lift 70 lbs, and stand or sit for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of property grounds.
• Maintain bunkers, mow tees, collars, approaches, fairways, rough, greens (walking or riding greens mower only).
• Blow clippings and debris.
• Set up golf course for daily play.
• Spread pine straw and mulch, spray weeds.
• Promote a positive working environment and relationship with all team members in all departments and divisions.
• Additional duties as deemed necessary.
• Must be able to perform tasks in an acceptable time frame.
• Must work well with others in a team environment and have a positive attitude.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule with a minimum of 10 hours per week, including weekends.

Salary Range: $14.00 - $14.00 Hourly

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to use designated tools and/or equipment as directed by supervisor, using strict safety rules and guidelines as outlined below.
• Maintain all aspects of property grounds.
• Maintain bunkers, mow tees, collars, approaches, fairways, rough, greens (walking or riding greens mower only).
