Job summary

Founders Group Mcc is looking for a dedicated team member to maintain the golf course grounds at Colonial Charters in Longs, SC. Responsibilities include mowing, maintaining bunkers, and ensuring the course is ready for play.

The ideal candidate must have a valid driver’s license, demonstrate safety awareness, and be capable of working in varying weather conditions. A flexible schedule with a minimum of 10 hours per week is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work outside in extreme weather conditions.
• Must be able to walk a minimum of five miles daily.

• Maintain bunkers and mow greens, tees, and fairways.

Location: Colonial Charters - Longs, SC 29568

Salary Range: $14.00 - $14.00 Hourly

Duties and Responsibilities

• Use designated tools and/or equipment as directed by supervisor, following strict safety rules and guidelines.
• Maintain all aspects of property grounds.
• Maintain bunkers, mow tees, collars, approaches, fairways, rough, greens (walking or riding greens mower only).
• Blow clippings and debris.
• Set up golf course for daily play.
• Spread pine straw and mulch, spray weeds.
• Promote a positive working environment and relationship with all team members in all departments and divisions.
• Perform additional duties as deemed necessary.
• Perform tasks in an acceptable time frame.
• Work well with others in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
• Work a flexible schedule with a minimum of 10 hours per week, including weekends.

Qualifications

Safety Responsibilities and Requirements

• Actively demonstrate, encourage, and model safety rules and guidelines in accordance with state and federal law, using personal protective equipment as required.
• Report safety or hazard concerns to management immediately.
• Report any work-related injury to management immediately.
• Take personal responsibility for safety every day.

Additional Requirements

• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Have working knowledge of all golf course specific operations.
• Be able to work outside in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow, wind).
• Be able to walk a minimum of five miles daily.
• Be able to lift 70 lbs.
• Be willing to stand or sit for long periods of time.
