Job summary

Founders Group MCC in Myrtle Beach is seeking a grounds maintenance team member to care for the World Tour course. You will perform daily setup, mowing of tees, collars, fairways and greens, blow debris, spread pine straw and mulch, and maintain bunkers as directed, all while following safety guidelines.

This outdoor role requires working in extreme weather, walking several miles daily, lifting up to 70 lbs, standing or sitting for long periods, and a flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have working knowledge of all golf course specific operations.
• Must be able to work outside in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow, wind).
• Must be able to walk a minimum of five miles daily, lift 70 lbs, and stand or sit for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

Salary Range: $14.00 - $14.00 Hourly

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to use designated tools and/or equipment as directed by supervisor, using strict safety rules and guidelines as outlined below.
• Maintain all aspects of property grounds.
• Maintain bunkers, mow tees, collars, approaches, fairways, rough, greens (walking or riding greens mower only).
• Blow clippings and debris.
• Set up golf course for daily play.
• Spread pine straw and mulch, spray weeds.
• Promote a positive working environment and relationship with all team members in all departments and divisions.
• Additional duties as deemed necessary.
• Must be able to perform tasks in an acceptable time frame.
• Must work well with others in a team environment and have a positive attitude.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule with a minimum of 10 hours per week, including weekends.
