Job summary

Founders Group MCC is seeking a grounds crew member to maintain all aspects of the golf course grounds at Grande Dunes in Myrtle Beach, SC. The role requires outdoor work, safety adherence, and the ability to operate turf maintenance equipment.

Applicants should be prepared for a flexible schedule, including weekends, with walkable distances and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Prior golf course knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Comply with safety rules and guidelines at all times.
• Experience using turf maintenance equipment is preferred.
• Ability to walk long distances and lift heavy objects as part of routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of property grounds.
• Maintain bunkers, mow tees, collars, approaches, fairways, rough, greens (walking or riding mower).
• Blow clippings and debris.
• Set up golf course for daily play.
• Spread pine straw and mulch, spray weeds.
• Promote a positive working environment with all team members.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
• Work a flexible schedule with a minimum of 10 hours per week, including weekends.

Job DetailsJob Location: Grande Dunes - Myrtle Beach, SC 29579Salary Range: $15.00 - $15.00 Hourly

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to use designated tools and/or equipment as directed by supervisor, using strict safety rules and guidelines as outlined below.
• Maintain all aspects of property grounds.
• Maintain bunkers, mow tees, collars, approaches, fairways, rough, greens (walking or riding greens mower only).
• Blow clippings and debris.
• Set up golf course for daily play.
• Spread pine straw and mulch, spray weeds.
• Promote a positive working environment and relationship with all team members in all departments and divisions.
• Additional duties as deemed necessary.
• Must be able to perform tasks in an acceptable time frame.
• Must work well with others in a team environment and have a positive attitude.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule with a minimum of 10 hours per week, including weekends.

QualificationsSafety Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Actively demonstrate, encourage, and model safety rules and guidelines in accordance with state and federal law, using personal protective equipment as required.
• Report safety or hazard concerns to management immediately.
• Report any work-related injury to management immediately.
• Take personal responsibility for safety every day.

Qualification- Requirements Experience - Education

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have working knowledge of all golf course specific operations
• Must be able to work outside in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow, wind)
• Must be able to walk a minimum of five miles daily, able to lift 70 lbs, willing to stand or sit for long periods of time.
