Job summary

Founders Group MCC in Conway, SC is seeking a part-time golf course groundskeeper to support Myrtle Beach National operations and daily course setup. The role involves maintaining greens, bunkers, fairways, and turf areas, while following safety guidelines and working with diverse teams.

The candidate must be able to work outdoors in various weather, lift up to 70 lbs, walk several miles, and tolerate weekend shifts. Hourly pay ranges from $14.00 to $17.00.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have working knowledge of all golf course specific operations
• Must be able to work outside in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow, wind)
• Must be able to walk a minimum of five miles daily, able to lift 70 lbs, willing to stand or sit for long periods of time

Responsibilities

• Ability to use designated tools and/or equipment as directed by supervisor, using strict safety rules and guidelines as outlined below.
• Maintain all aspects of property grounds.
• Maintain bunkers, mow tees, collars, approaches, fairways, rough, greens (walking or riding greens mower only).
• Blow clippings and debris.
• Set up golf course for daily play.
• Spread pine straw and mulch, spray weeds.
• Promote a positive working environment and relationship with all team members in all departments and divisions.
• Additional duties as deemed necessary.
• Must be able to perform tasks in an acceptable time frame.
• Must work well with others in a team environment and have a positive attitude.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule with a minimum of 10 hours per week, including weekends.
