Wohali Golf Course, part of Troon, is seeking a seasonal full-time Greenskeeper/Golf Course Maintenance staff member in Coalville, Utah. You will perform diverse grounds maintenance tasks, operate equipment, and assist with course setup to support a high-paced hospitality environment.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. A valid driver’s license is required, with on-site training provided.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; on-site training provided.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds; up to 50 with assistance.
• Ability to read and speak English may be required for duties.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
• Operates small machinery for edging, trimming and mowing.
• Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.
• Assists with weed and debris cleanup and course detail tasks.
• Supports golf course setup procedures.
• Operates utility vehicles for hauling materials and debris.
• Performs pruning, plugging and other skilled tasks.
• Operates equipment safely and maintains awareness of coworkers.
• Prioritizes safe work practices and regular attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Hand watering as needed.

Wohali Golf Course located in Coalville, Utah just outside of Park CIty, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity of seasonal full-time Greenskeeper/Golf Course Maintenance staff! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofTroon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

General Purpose:

Performs a diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance and construction. Performs semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work and related tasks as required.

• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
• Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.
• Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.
• Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).
• Assists with golf course set-up procedures.
• Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.
• Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.).
• Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Hand watering needed.
• Grow-In Golf Course Maintenance.

Education/Experience:

• Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly stands, walks, sits, and uses hands, reaches with hands and arms.
• Occasionally climbs or balances; stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches.
• Regularly talks or hears.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds; up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Regularly works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather) and works near moving mechanical part.
• Occasionally works in high, precarious places and in areas with fumes or airborne particles.
• Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions.
• Occasionally works in extreme heat (non-weather) and experiences vibration.
• Noise level is loud.

Certificates/Licenses:

• Valid Driver’s License
