Contra Costa Country Club in Pleasant Hill, CA is seeking a part-time Greenskeeper I to support daily course maintenance in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Troon operates the property, offering a path within a global golf services network.

The role offers hands-on training with golf course operations, including bunkers, mowing, soil prep, and set-up, with a pay of $20.00 per hour and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Valid Driver's License with reliable attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Performs general golf course maintenance using walking and riding mowers.
• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
• Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.
• Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.
• Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).
• Assists with golf course set-up procedures.
• Safely operate utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.
• Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.).
• Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Compensation: $20.00 - per hour
