Job summary

Blue Hills Golf Course in Pearl River, NY is seeking a full-time Greenskeeper to maintain greens, tees and surrounding landscapes while contributing to a positive experience for members and guests. As an associate of Troon, you will join a global leader in golf and community management, operating and maintaining irrigation, equipment and grounds, and supporting restoration and renovation efforts.

Qualifications

• Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be highly organized, efficient and detail oriented.
• Must possess the ability to design, coordinate and maintain landscaping on the golf course.
• Must possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course maintenance.
• Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation.
• Must be dependable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility.
• Mows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areas.
• Waters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water.
• Repairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as necessary.
• Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways.
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds.
• Applies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf course.
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Blue Hills Golf Course, located in Pearl River, NY, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Greenskeeper! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Pay

$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
