Job summary

Mansion Ridge, located in Monroe, NY, is seeking a seasonal greenskeeper to support golf course maintenance and construction. You will work as part of Troon, a global leader in golf and community management, contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests.

Responsibilities include routine landscape maintenance with riding and handheld equipment, bunker maintenance, soil bed preparation, course setup assistance, and safe operation of small machinery.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Mansion Ridge, located in Monroe, NY, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Greenskeeper! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role Type:

Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

Compensation:

$17.00 - $17.50 per hour

Summary:

Performs a diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance and construction. Performs semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work and related tasks as required.

Responsibilities:

Performs general landscape maintenance using riding and handheld equipment.

Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.

Education/Experience:

Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:

Regularly stands, walks, sits, and uses hands, reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally climbs or balances; stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches. Regularly talks or hears and lifts up to 50 pounds. Occasionally lifts up to 100 pounds.

Regularly works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather) and works near moving mechanical part. Occasionally works in high, precarious places and in areas with fumes or airborne particles. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Occasionally works in extreme heat (non-weather) and experiences vibration. Noise level is loud.
