Baylands Golf Links in Palo Alto, CA, is seeking a part-time Greenskeeper to join Troon, a global leader in golf and club management.

You will maintain landscaping around the course, operate equipment, and support irrigation, fertilizing, and sod work while delivering a positive experience for members and guests.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility.
• Mows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areas.
• Waters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads as needed.
• Repairs irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads.
• Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways.
• Trims hedges and shrubs; cleans flower beds; applies pesticides and fertilizer.
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Summary

The Greenskeeper is a key member of the course maintenance team and is responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the golf course.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be highly organized, efficient and detail oriented
• Must possess the ability to design, coordinate and maintain landscaping on the golf course
• Must possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course maintenance
• Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation
• Must be dependable

Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
