Job summary

Brentwood Golf Course in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a part-time Greenskeeper I to maintain greens and landscapes, assist with bunker maintenance, and support overall course operations for members and guests.

As an associate of Troon Golf, LLC, you will join a global leader in golf and community management, performing landscape tasks, course setup, and safe work practices while learning and growing in the role. The position offers $15.00 per hour with benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• One-month related experience or training.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Performs general landscape maintenance using hand held equipment.
• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
• Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.
• Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.
• Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).
• Assists with golf course set-up procedures.
• Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.
• Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.).
• Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Description

Brentwood Golf Course, located in Jacksonville, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Greenskeeper! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation

$15.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities of the Greenskeeper I

• Performs general landscape maintenance using hand held equipment
• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
