Job summary

Plantible Foods is seeking an Operator to support our pilot plant, cultivation systems, and facilities in Eldorado, Texas. You will work with processing, greenhouses, and site teams to keep production running and scalable, while contributing to a sustainable protein platform.

Qualifications

• Experience in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Knowledge of safe work practices in a facility manufacturing environment.
• Experience in basic technical/mechanical manufacturing.
• Ability to do basic math functions (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
• Able to convert standard units of measurement.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on cultivation operations, including pond cleaning, maintenance, and biomass harvesting.
• Monitor greenhouse environmental conditions and Lemna plant health for biomass quality.
• Record and enter operational and cultivation data accurately.
• Work safely in hot, humid greenhouse environments.
• Follow SOPs and contribute to cross-shift consistency.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and equipment upkeep.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Analytical Chemistry, and R&D teams on process optimization.
• Maintain GMP, HACCP, OSHA, and food safety standards.
