Job summary

Beyond Meat, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator for the Pilot Plant in El Segundo, CA to support high-volume manufacturing of plant-based products. You will handle equipment, monitor processes, and help ensure quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include sanitation, equipment setup, and assisting with production flow. The role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work flexible shifts while following GMP and food-safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience, especially in food manufacturing, preferred.
• Problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions and safety rules.
• Teamwork and a positive attitude; punctual and dependable.
• Flexibility to work any/all shifts in a high growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and perform daily production activities under supervision.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and assist with sanitation.
• Operate trucks and transfer product between areas as needed.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and safe; suggest improvements.
• Assist in setting up machinery for daily production.
• Follow food safety policies and verify ingredients meet specs.
• Support junior Production Operators in their responsibilities.
• Identify and report unsafe operations; comply with GMP and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
