Job summary

Green Circle Growers Inc. in Oberlin, OH is hiring a Crew Leader to coordinate greenhouse teams on production, plant care, and shipping preparation. You will lead a diverse crew, ensure workflow, keep records, and maintain tools and resources for your area.

You will train new staff, provide feedback to management, and act as the main contact for your crew, driving safety and efficiency while supporting cross-team collaboration; some roles may require driving electric carts and climbing ladders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum one-year experience in greenhouse, nursery operations or horticulture, or related field.
• Minimum six-months of crew lead or supervisory experience.
• Must be able to speak English; bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a greenhouse crew on production, plant care and shipping prep.
• Direct and train the crew; read and fulfill work orders with guidance.
• Maintain workflow, records and tools/resources for the assigned area.
• Act as first point of contact for the crew and escalate issues as needed.
• Provide feedback to management on employee performance and progress.
• Coaches and motivates employees to improve performance and behavior.
• May drive electric carts and climb ladders.
