Job summary

MTH Pumps in Plano, IL is hiring a full-time manual Mold Maker to join the P&W Foundry across the street. You will make green sand molds for bronze poured castings and work in a team to meet growing demand.

The position offers a wage of $17/hour, tuition reimbursement, medical and dental insurance, and a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, keeping evenings free for personal time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Dependable and willing to learn.
• Experience in a foundry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patterns and inventory of castings by count and location.
• Prepare castings and paperwork for shipments and assist with metal inventory counts.
• Help melting and pouring of casting, including pre-heating, pouring, and shell handling.
• Finish castings for shipment using belt sander/grinder or shot blaster.
• Learn other foundry processes and provide backup labor when trained.
