Job summary

MTH Pumps of Plano, IL is seeking a full-time Dip Room team member to support the P & W Foundry across the street and meet rising production. The role involves dipping wax trees to craft ceramic molds, with a Monday–Friday shift from 6am to 2:30pm, and evenings free. The position offers a $17/hour wage, tuition reimbursement, and medical and dental insurance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a foundry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dipping wax trees to create ceramic molds.
• Assist with patterns and inventory of castings by count and location.
• Help prepare castings and paperwork for shipments.
• Assist with monthly metal inventory counts.
• Melting and pouring of casting including pre-heating ovens and pouring floors.
• Move full molds and inspect completed shells.
• Finish castings for shipment using belt sander/grinders or shot blaster.
• Learn and support other foundry processes including investment casting.
