Job summary

G&W Electric is seeking a Molder to shape molds using automatic molding machines, air-set sand mixers, and other equipment. You will position patterns in flasks, fill sand, ram and vent molds, and assemble cope and drag sections for production lines.

The role requires a high school diploma, reading English, and basic math and communication skills; prior foundry/manufacturing experience is preferred. Pay ranges apply and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in foundry or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and understand written English.
• Good math, computer and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Shape molds or mold sections with molding machines and equipment.
• Position patterns in flasks, fill with sand, and ram sand around pattern.
• Prepare molds for drawing of patterns and repair mold impressions.
• Set cores/chills, vent molds as needed.
• Assemble cope and drag, place mold on conveyor.
• Report production quantities and times for each work order.
• Report worn pattern equipment to supervisors.
