Job summary

MTH Pumps of Plano, IL is hiring a full-time Foundry Worker for the P&W Foundry across the street to support increased demand for bronze poured castings. The role offers $17.00/hour, tuition reimbursement, and medical and dental insurance.

The Foundry operates Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm, providing evenings free. Training and opportunities to learn casting processes are available as you contribute to a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some mechanical aptitude
• Dependable and willing to learn

Responsibilities

• Assist with patterns and inventory of castings by count and location.
• Prepare castings and paperwork for shipments.
• Assist with monthly metal inventory counts.
• Help with melting and pouring of casting by pre-heating oven, melting, loading and unloading shells, and setting up for pours.
• Finish castings for shipment using belt sander/grinders and shot blaster.
