Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
• Minimum 3 years of credit risk experience within financial services.
• Strong financial modeling skills with ability to analyze capital structure and cash flows.
• Understanding of client and capital markets processes and credit risk management.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently and in teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to present complex info clearly.
• Proficiency in Excel (large datasets), PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Interface with business teams to develop diligence questions from contracts and reports.
• Identify risks and propose loan structures that protect JPM’s interests in structured transactions.
• Build and maintain financial models to reflect forward-looking risk factors.
• Support transaction execution, reviewing financing and contracts, advising on capital structure and risk levels.
• Prepare credit memorandums and manage credit approvals and booking processes.
• Conduct portfolio management tasks including credit reviews and counterparty risk analysis.
• Stay current on client activity, industry trends, and potential risks and opportunities.
