JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Credit Risk Associate to join the Infrastructure & Green Economy team in Houston.

You will work with senior colleagues across Investment Banking, Global Corporate Bank, and Markets to structure and monitor credit exposure for greenfield and brownfield projects across energy, renewables, and transportation sectors. You will develop diligence questions, build financial models, and prepare credit memorandums while ensuring proper risk controls and alignment with capital

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline required.
• Minimum 3 years of credit risk experience within financial services.
• Strong financial modeling skills and familiarity with financial statements.
• Understanding of client and capital markets processes, credit risk management and commercial requirements.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as within a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of clear, organized presenting of complex information.

Responsabilités

• Interface with business teams to develop diligence questions from contracts, forecasts, and reports.
• Use analytical skills to identify risks and recommend loan structures protecting JPM’s interests.
• Build and maintain financial models to reflect forward-looking risk on key drivers.
• Support execution of transactions, reviewing financing structures and contracts, advising on capital structure and risk grading.
• Prepare credit memorandums and manage credit approvals and booking processes.
• Perform portfolio management tasks including credit reviews, analysis, monitoring limits, and documentation revisions.
• Stay current on client industries, portfolio performance, covenants, news, and risk opportunities.
