Job summary

The YMCA of the Triangle is seeking a Golf Course Crew member to support groundskeeping and safety across our camp facilities. You will maintain greens, traps, fairways, and turf, while ensuring proper equipment care and adherence to safety policies.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires flexibility for early mornings, weekends, and travel between branches, with a starting wage of $17.85 per hour and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and retirement plan

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Experience in golf course maintenance or related work.
• Ability to operate specialized maintenance equipment and lawn maintenance equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Mows greens on a regular schedule.
• Grooms sand traps and fills with sand as needed.
• Assists with mowing fairways and roughs.
• Waters greens regularly to promote growth.
• Operates and maintains course equipment as needed.
• Supports seasonal site preparations and weather-related repairs.
• Maintains clean, functional grounds and communicates within the team.
