Job summary

Governors Club in North Carolina is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Golf Course Grounds Maintenance team. This entry-level position supports the golf course maintenance crew through various small tasks and seasonal duties.

Responsibilities include mowing fairways and greens, basic carpentry/painting, irrigation repairs, tree trimming, operating small equipment, raking bunkers, and assisting with sod, bunker renovations, and project work as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to work outdoors, in all seasons and weather conditions.
• Some landscape maintenance experience preferred, but not required.
• 18 years of age by the start date.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Mow fairways and greens, assist with course conditioning and maintenance.
• Operate small equipment such as string trimmers, fly mowers, and walking greens mowers.
• Assist with projects like sodding, tree removal, bunker renovations, and general upkeep.
• Keep maintenance facilities clean and ensure equipment is washed and serviced.
