Job summary

Intertek USA is seeking a Building Enclosure Consultant / Senior Project Manager in Cleveland, OH. Lead commissioning projects, mentor staff, and develop the local Building Science Solutions team while expanding client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or Architectural Engineering and 5+ years’ experience in Building Enclosure consulting.
• Alternatively, 10+ years’ Building Enclosure experience in lieu of the degree.
• Excellent understanding of building enclosure systems and construction.
• Experience managing a range of small to large projects and PM experience.
• Ability to travel up to 25% outside the local area and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead building enclosure commissioning projects and train staff in BECx processes.
• Provide consulting, commissioning, design and construction phase services for new buildings.
• Perform investigations and assessments on existing buildings and provide remedial designs.
• Prepare proposals and client deliverables, including technical reports.
• Mentor staff and assist in hiring and developing a local team.
• Support department management with business development and larger pursuits.
