Job summary

Sol design + consulting is seeking a versatile Project Coordinator to support our green building certification team in Cincinnati or Cleveland. You will review designs, perform on-site inspections, collect certification data, and coordinate documentation across multiple certifications.

Applicants should have a relevant degree and 1–3+ years in building design or energy rating, with strong CAD skills (AutoCAD/Revit/SketchUp) and excellent communication. Travel required to projects as needed.

Qualifications

Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical/Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
1–3 years or more of experience in building design, construction or energy rating/consulting.
Aptitude for interpreting drawings and construction specs.

Responsibilities

Work on multiple projects in multiple green certification programs (LEED, ENERGY STAR, Passive House, etc.).
Review drawings and specs to verify sustainable measures are included.
Extract data from drawings for energy model input.
Collect and organize documentation for certification from design/construction teams and clients.
Conduct on-site inspections and energy performance testing; may require travel.
