Job summary

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of CAD experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative project team. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and related design software is required or a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional CAD experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Experience producing construction or technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of drafting standards and construction documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, engineering, or construction drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with Revit, Civil 3D, or other design software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise detailed 2D CAD drawings based on project requirements and design direction.
• Develop construction documents, plans, details, and layouts.
• Coordinate drawings with project managers, engineers, architects, and other designers.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Incorporate revisions and redlines into project documents.
• Maintain organized project files and drawing sets.
• Assist with drawing standards, templates, and document management.
• Coordinate design information between disciplines as needed.
• Support projects through various phases of design and construction documentation.
• Communicate with team members to identify and resolve drawing or coordination issues.
