Job summary

The Greece Central School District is seeking a music instructor to lead woodwind, brass, percussion, and visual/colorguard instruction for middle and high school students. A $900 stipend is paid in January 2027, with adjustments for reduced availability as needed.

Applicants should be able to collaborate with arts staff, attend rehearsals and performances, and maintain a professional and organized presence throughout the program. NYSED fingerprint clearance is required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching middle or high school students preferred.
• Ability to work in ensembles and one-on-one with performers.
• Strong organization and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist in competitive marching instruction and instruction of performing members.
• Work as part of a group and independently in carrying out the instruction plan in one-on-one and group settings with performers.
• Attend all rehearsals and performances.
• Stipend of $900 paid in January 2027; technicians with reduced availability may have stipend adjusted accordingly.
