Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Data Scientist to support analytical and automation solutions for DOJ clients. You will handle data wrangling, visualization, predictive analytics, ML, and RPA across the full analytics spectrum.

You will collaborate with ISSOs and Agile teams to define data requirements, build dashboards, and operationalize data products in a CI/CD/DevSecOps environment. A Federal Public Trust is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Three or more years' experience as a Data Security Analyst or equivalent knowledge.
• Four or more years' experience in data analytics with large data sets.
• Experience in data analytics, modeling, or visualization projects in a consulting or federal environment.
• Experience with Python, SQL, and other modern scripting languages used in analytics.
• Experience with at least one major BI/data visualization platform (Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik).
• Ability to support on-site and hybrid projects in the DC metro area

Responsibilities

• Turn cybersecurity and GRC data into actionable insights for RMF workflows, continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, and authorization activities.
• Design and deliver analytics and ML models to improve risk visibility and remediation priorities.
• Partner with ISSOs, system owners, and Agile teams to define data requirements and dashboards for mission decision-making.
• Operate within CI/CD and DevSecOps practices to version experiments, automate data pipelines, and validate models.
• Communicate findings with clear visualizations and documentation aligned to stakeholder needs.
