Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a data science consulting professional to design solutions for Federal clients. You will use Python, SQL, LLMs, Tableau, and Databricks to build AI/ML products and automate workflows with Power Automate.

The role requires engaging with clients to gather requirements and to drive initiatives forward within remote, hybrid, or on-site settings in the DC metro area. The ideal candidate has an active SECRET clearance or higher, a technical degree, and 2+ years of data analytics

Qualifications

• Active SECRET or higher clearance required (or higher).
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• Two (2) years of data science, data engineering or data analytics experience.
• Proficiency connecting data sources and wrangling data using Python.
• Experience querying and wrangling data with SQL.
• Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Experience utilizing Large Language Models and prompt engineering.
• Experience developing and deploying AI/ML models using Python.
• Experience analytics and data engineering in cloud environments (Azure or AWS).
• Ability to support remote, hybrid, or on-site projects in the Washington D.C. metro area.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical skills and mission-focused mindset to understand client needs and design solutions for Federal clients.
• Leverage Python, SQL, LLMs, Tableau and Databricks to develop products and solutions.
• Automate processes using Power Automate where appropriate.
• Translate technical findings for both technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership.
• Engage with clients to gather requirements and drive initiatives forward.
• Support internal initiatives and business development including RFP/RFQ/RFI responses and white papers.
