The Guidehouse Technology AI & Data team is seeking a Data Scientist to support the development of analytical and automation solution for clients across our Department of Justice (DOJ) portfolio. This high performing team works with clients to implement the full spectrum of data analytics and data science, from data querying and data wrangling, to data visualization and dashboarding, to predictive analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence as well as robotic process automation (RPA). Our services enable our clients to define their information strategy, enable mission critical insights and data-driven decision making, reduce cost and complexity, increase trust, and improve operational effectiveness. Turn cybersecurity and GRC data into actionable insights that support RMF workflows, continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, and authorization activities. Design and deliver analytics (descriptive, diagnostic, predictive) and ML models that improve risk visibility (e.g., predictive risk scoring, anomaly detection) and inform remediation priorities. Partner with ISSOs, system owners, and Agile delivery teams to define data requirements, curate datasets, and operationalize dashboards for mission decision-making. Operate within CI/CD and DevSecOps practices to version experiments, automate data/feature pipelines, and validate models in controlled environments. Communicate findings in plain language and produce clear visualizations and documentation that align to stakeholder needs.

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
