Simmons Animal Nutrition, Inc is seeking a production associate to read batching sheets, stage ingredients, and batch gravies in a fast-paced environment. The role requires weighing ingredients, inspecting bags for quality, and ensuring proper labeling and storage.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness of the gravy room and surrounding areas, following safety protocols, and adhering to company policies.

Qualificações

• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret batching sheets and prep ingredients accordingly.
• Stage ingredients and batch gravies 10–12 hours ahead of schedule.
• Inspect each ingredient bag for quality: foreign material, lumps, off-color/odor, infestation, or expired materials.
• Weigh ingredients per gravy card into totes, label totes, and stage them for batching.
• Move bags and totes weighing up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Clean the gravy room, filtration system, and dry ingredient area; ensure totes are vacuumed or wiped clean; cover/open bags properly.
• Participate as a member of the Team and adhere to BEST practices.
• Familiarity with Simmons operating systems and company policies; communicate concerns and improvement ideas.
