Job summary

CCL is seeking a dependable candidate for a Gravure press assistant on the 2nd shift in Memphis. You will learn to assist press operators, load materials, and help produce high-quality Gravure products while following SOPs and GMPs.

This role offers on-the-job training, opportunities to advance, and a benefits package including health insurance and 401(k). Strong manual skills and the ability to read simple measurements will help you succeed.

Responsibilities

• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Demonstrates punctuality and regular attendance.
• Maintains clean work area.
• Follows SOPs, GMPs, handbook policies and safety rules.
• Works overtime as required.
• Collaborates with team to maximize production.
• Reads a ruler to 1/32" and 1 mm.
• Trains coworkers to set up, operate and use equipment.
• Sets up press per job specs and customer requirements.
• Assists in producing quality products and supports operators.
• Learns ink mixing and press adjustments.
• Learns to set up Gravure press and produce non-complex high quality products.
• Operates hand truck and hand tools.
• Applies mechanical ability to adjust press and troubleshoot problems.
• Maintains equipment via routine maintenance and cleaning.
