Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to ship, receive, and stock finished goods for internal and external orders from Stockton, CA. Swing shift, graveyard hours (9:00pm - 5:30am).

Responsibilities include using ERP systems, preparing shipping documents, and maintaining safety and accuracy in packaging and labeling. Requires PIT and HazMat training to be completed at hire and at least 1 year of warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• PIT Certification (will certify at hire) required.
• D.O.T. Haz Mat Training (will certify at hire) required.
• 1 year warehouse/logistics/shipping experience required.
• Operate forklift, reach truck, order picker, and electric pallet jack.
• ERP/SAP or similar system experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete shipments using ERP system and/or tablet; pull, package, and palletize products for shipment.
• Create and apply documents such as shipping labels, packing lists, and bills of lading for each pallet/shipment.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
