Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie is seeking a Shipper/Receiver for a full-time, union position based in Stockton, CA. The role focuses on shipping, receiving, stocking finished goods, and operating forklifts with SAP or a similar ERP system.

Training for PIT and HazMat will occur at hire, with a year of shipping experience preferred. Responsibilities include preparing shipments, documents, and labels, maintaining safety standards, and supporting others as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift certification and D.O.T. Haz Mat training will be provided at hire.
• 1 year warehouse, logistics or shipping experience required.
• Ability to operate forklift, reach truck, order picker, and electric pallet jack.
• Strong safety and attendance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Ship, receive, and stock finished goods to fulfill orders (70%).
• Create and apply shipping documents, labels, packing lists, and bills of lading.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Additional duties as assigned.
