Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 7 on/7 off graveyard shift at St George Regional Hospital. The role performs diagnostic MRI exams, collaborates with radiologists, and upholds high imaging quality while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, BLS for healthcare providers, and IV competency within 30 days. Preferred: 1–2 years MRI experience and a bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification required.
• ARMRIT or ARRT(R) cross-training in MRI acceptable.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers required.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI exams following department protocol.
• Ensure correct patient identification and exam preparation.
• Review imaging for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
• Maintain MRI safety and a safe working environment.
• Complete studies within expected time frames with quality patient care.
• Assist and educate students and other MRI staff on protocols.
• Provide patient education and address concerns.
• Maintain infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keep accurate records of patient information and procedures.
