Job summary

Intermountain Health in St George, UT is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 7 on/7 off graveyard shift. You will perform diagnostic MRI exams, work with radiologists and physicians, and maintain high-quality imaging in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have ARRT MR or ARMRIT credentials, BLS, and MRI protocol expertise. Relocation or sign-on bonuses may be available; patient education and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification and/or ARMRIT credential.
• Cross-training in MRI acceptable with ARRT(R).
• BLS for healthcare providers required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT/ modality competency for clinical and technical functions.
• Verifies patient identity, orders, and prepares the patient for exams.
• Performs MRI exams per protocol; reviews images for quality and accuracy.
• Follows MRI safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Completes studies within acceptable time frames without compromising care or quality.
• Assists students and other MRI staff with protocols, positioning, and equipment.
• Provides patient education, ensures comfort, and addresses concerns.
• Maintains infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operates MRI equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keeps accurate records of patient information and procedures.
