Job summary

Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital in Utah is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 7 on/7 off graveyard shift (21:00-07:00). You will perform diagnostic MRI exams and collaborate with radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging results.

The ideal candidate will hold ARRT MR or ARMRIT credentials, BLS certification, and IV competency within 30 days of hire, with a strong focus on patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification or ARMRIT credentialed MRI technologist.
• ARRT MR certification with cross-training acceptable.
• BLS for healthcare providers required.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT/competency in clinical/technical functions.
• Prepare patient, verify identity, and position for MRI exam.
• Acquire and review images for quality and accuracy.
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within time standards without compromising care.
• Instruct and assist students/colleagues in protocols and equipment.
• Provide patient education and address concerns.
