Job summary

The Ella Baker Center for Human Rights (EBC) seeks a bright and dedicated Development Associate to help move resources into community-led solutions for safety and racial justice. Reporting to the Development Manager, this role leads fundraising operations, grassroots giving, and partnerships, while mobilizing members to lead campaigns and leveraging data for strategy.

Preference given to Bay Area residents. The position requires some weekend/evening work as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of fundraising and volunteer management experience.
• Proven track record collaborating on complex projects.
• Strong political commitment to racial justice and collective liberation.

Responsibilities

• Lead parts of fundraising work including development operations, grassroots giving, and sponsorships/partnerships.
• Mobilize members to lead grassroots and mid-level giving projects and engage local businesses.
• Coordinate mass mobilization efforts using technology and volunteers.
