Job summary

The Outreach Team is seeking passionate organizers to recruit, train, and lead volunteers for grassroots campaigns across multiple districts. You will build teams around canvassing and petitions, organize events, and run digital campaigns to engage communities and drive action.

Ideal candidates will have nonprofit campaign experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail. A valid driver’s license is required; weekend/evening hours are common.

Qualifications

• Experience working for nonprofits and issue campaigns.
• Data management and evaluation experience, Google Suite.
• Experience with campaign tools and technologies (VAN, Action Network, ThruText, MailChimp, EveryAction).
• Ability to work weekends and weekday evenings.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to drive.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and train a community of volunteer activists and maintain volunteer lists.
• Organize high-visibility in-person events and campaign actions.
• Manage digital campaigns, data, and reporting tools.
• Engage with community leaders and partner organizations to foster relationships.
• Post regular outreach activities including door-knocking, petitions, and media outreach.
