Job summary

Vomela Commercial Group in Indianapolis is seeking a detail‑oriented production planner to collaborate with customer service, sales, vendors and production to deliver complete graphic solutions on time and on budget.

You will develop, attach and communicate accurate material and labor estimates, create efficient production plans, and coordinate cross‑functionally to keep every step of the workflow aligned from brief to shipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Job planning/Estimating experience in a printing or promotional marketing business.
• Conscientious self-starter with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Able to build and establish business relationships.
• Able to distinguish colors; color vision required; color blindness disqualifying.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customer service, sales, vendors and production in a fast paced, creative environment.
• Develop, implementing and estimating complex projects within time and cost constraints; ongoing cross-functional communication.
• Prioritize and coordinate incoming work; understand project specifications.
• Work with customer service and account executives to identify workable production solutions for challenging projects.
• Coordinate with other service locations nationally as well as subcontractors and vendors to ensure a quality product within time restrictions.
