Job summary

Huitt-Zollars, Inc. is seeking a Graphic Designer II with 2-4 years of experience for on-site work in Orlando, FL or Los Angeles, CA. The role focuses on environmental graphics, signage, and branded content for themed entertainment and hospitality projects.

The position involves development of visual communication, coordination with design teams, and production-ready graphics, ensuring brand alignment, accessibility, and code compliance. On-site collaboration with client teams is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2-4 years of experience and intermediate skills in graphic design, experiential design, or related industries.
• Familiarity with Rhino, Revit, Lumion, Adobe suite, and Microsoft Office; Enscape, 3DS Max, and/or Maya/Zbrush a plus.
• Portfolio showcasing typography, layout, branding, and environmental graphic design.

Responsibilities

• Develop environmental graphics, signage systems, and visual communication across projects.
• Translate narrative, brand, and experiential intent into graphic design solutions.
• Design wayfinding systems, interpretive graphics, branded environments, and signage.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and show set designers to integrate graphics.
• Prepare graphic packages, layout drawings, and production-ready files.
• Coordinate with fabricators and vendors to maintain graphic intent through production.
• Participate in design reviews and interdisciplinary coordination meetings.
